Automatic activation of SC series sliding door functions
by means of a wormscrew motoreducer that is manually
reversible effortlessly, powered at 220 V with motion
transmission via toothed belt. The IP 56 power cabinet
is suitable for installation in damp environments
and contains an electronic circuit for control of
the functions and an inverter that regulates the
speed of opening and closure and relative power
needs, in respect of the safety regulations. The
pre-wired power panel with rapid safety connectors
is installed on the cabinet in a readily accessible
position for use of the controls and for operations
of inspection and maintenance, all the peripheral
devices are connected via rapid connectors to eliminating
the need for specialized installers to perform worksite
operations, which will only be necessary for connection
to the mains. Control of the stops in the open and
closed position is made via microswitch.
The controls for operating the doors are located
on the outside of the power cabinet and inside,
on a keyboard, on which the following keys are located:
• Open/Close button • Partial open
button (at walking pan) • Emergency button
(BT version, only on the outside)
A pair of flashing yellow lights indicates when
the door is in motion (only TN, on the BT version
only flashing on the outside). The open and close
controls can also be operated with the cord switches
(inside and outside) installed as standard equipment.
The main crush-prevention safety device is a sensitive
bar of the resistant type in compliance with standard
EN 954-1 category 2, located on the vertical edge
of the door panel which, in case of collision with
an obstacle, instantly blocks the door and reverses
motion, sending a signal to the panel via the wire
located on a special wire holding chain in nylon,
eliminating the need of unsightly hanging wires
or spiral cords. An IP 67 photocell, in addition
to the sensitive bar, using a reflecting sensor
to prevent physical contact between the door panel
in motion and the obstacle, blocking the door instantly
and reversing its motion so as to ensure the function
and durability of the sensitive bar.
The electronic circuit permits various type of management
of the door functions, as follows: mode with automatic
return after pause in the “Open” position,
with variable timing, mode of operation only with
open or close control (human presence), operation
with partial opening (at walking pan) (adjustable).
All the SC series doors comply with standard EN
13241-1 and are subject to initial type testing
by a notified organization that has issued the marking.
All the doors are marked with an identification
place with the marking.
